Ashley Wagner

Ashley Wagner

Board Secretary

I am currently the secretary of the JRMF. I am detail oriented and enjoy keeping things organized. With a background in data entry and environmental compliance I am familiar with keeping records and meticulously documenting any changes made within our organization.

Having grown up with Julie and growing our families at the same time I was deeply impacted by her loss and the loneliness her children faced while waiting for a familiar face. I am passionate about keeping families connected in emergency situations and spreading the word about any resources available to help families in their darkest hours.

Outside of the foundation I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, playing games, and drinking coffee.

Board Member

My name is Tricia White. Although born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, I have been a resident of Lucas County for more than 30 years. I attended the University of Toledo and received my Master of Arts in Criminal Justice. I have worked at the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office for the past 30 years. I currently hold the position of Major in the Law Enforcement Division overseeing the Road Patrol, Detective Bureau, Drug Abuse Response Team, SWAT Team, Communications Section, and Records Bureau. I am also employed as an adjunct professor in the Criminal Justice Department at the University of Toledo.

I am passionate about the mission and vision of the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation on several levels. First and foremost, Julie is family. My mother and Julie’s grandmother were sisters. I am also a law enforcement officer who has seen firsthand the immense need for identification and emergency contact information during emergencies.

I have been involved with several organizations within the community and currently sit on the Board of Directors at the Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio, the Lucas County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, and Toledo Metro Federal Credit Union. I have three children – DJ who is a teacher at Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Dominic who is in quality assurance at a medical facility, and Tessa who is a junior accounting major at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, binge-watching any good Netflix series, and traveling to new places.

The Julie Roth Memorial Foundation was created after tragedy struck our family.

On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth, was traveling with her two small children and they were caught up in a 47-car pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Julie and Edna Rose, the baby she was carrying, did not survive, but her two other children did.

Injured and afraid, the two toddlers waited hours to see a familiar face while emergency responders worked to identify them and contact their father, who was at work. Ayla and Rory Roth are alive and well today. They are the reason for the creation of the Roth ID Tag along with the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation.

Keeping families connected in emergency situations has been our mission since that tragic December day. We have worked with First Responders and Child Passenger Safety Technicians to develop a product that is compliant and accessible. We are parents and have worked with parents to fully understand the needs of children and individuals under a guardianship.

Support Julie Roth Memorial Foundation

The mission of the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation (JRMF) is "Keeping Loved Ones Safe and Connected". Our foundation does this by providing information, guidance, and access to products that help YOU securely capture and share the most up-to-date information needed by first responders.

The foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and donations are tax-deductible.
