Susan Graves
Board President
I am currently the President of the JRMF. I retired from The Chef’s Garden where I worked as the Food Safety and Farm Safety Coordinator for 13 years. Prior to that I worked at Cedar Point in Food Service Management for 25 years. I have served as the secretary and president of the Zonta Club as well as on the board of Erie County Area Safety Council.
I attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education. I currently live in Sandusky, Ohio and enjoy spending time with my daughter and grandkids. My interests lie in gardening, music, great movies and good books! Family means everything to me!
With a passion for safety I believe in the need for education and awareness to help families in emergency situations.

Denise Lewis
Board Vice President
I am the vice president of the JRMF, Ladies Auxiliary Treasurer and co-chair on the Membership Committee for the Huron Yacht Club, and a member of the Entertainment Committee with the Huron Eagles Aerie #2875. I am recently retired from Management Development with Macys and Cedar Fair Companies. And am currently a partner with my husband John’s financial business in Sandusky, Ohio.
While living in Huron, Ohio I truly love spending time with family, special friends, gardening, boating, golfing, and travel. I appreciate every minute of my family time including spending time with my two grandsons, currently 5 and 8 years old. They have inspired my interest in the JRMF and in keeping families identified in emergency situations.

Ashley Wagner
Board Secretary
I am currently the secretary of the JRMF. I am detail oriented and enjoy keeping things organized. With a background in data entry and environmental compliance I am familiar with keeping records and meticulously documenting any changes made within our organization.
Having grown up with Julie and growing our families at the same time I was deeply impacted by her loss and the loneliness her children faced while waiting for a familiar face. I am passionate about keeping families connected in emergency situations and spreading the word about any resources available to help families in their darkest hours.
Outside of the foundation I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, playing games, and drinking coffee.
The Julie Roth Memorial Foundation was created after tragedy struck our family.
On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth, was traveling with her two small children and they were caught up in a 47-car pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Julie and Edna Rose, the baby she was carrying, did not survive, but her two other children did.
Injured and afraid, the two toddlers waited hours to see a familiar face while emergency responders worked to identify them and contact their father, who was at work. Ayla and Rory Roth are alive and well today. They are the reason for the creation of the Roth ID Tag along with the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation.
Keeping families connected in emergency situations has been our mission since that tragic December day. We have worked with First Responders and Child Passenger Safety Technicians to develop a product that is compliant and accessible. We are parents and have worked with parents to fully understand the needs of children and individuals under a guardianship.
Support Julie Roth Memorial Foundation
The mission of the Julie Roth Memorial Foundation (JRMF) is "Keeping Loved Ones Safe and Connected". Our foundation does this by providing information, guidance, and access to products that help YOU securely capture and share the most up-to-date information needed by first responders.
